Before Betting On Premier League Darts

It has been another pulsating year of Premier League Darts, with the 20th edition of the event drawing to its conclusion at the O2 Arena on Thursday. Three matches remain in the competition, with the top four players competing in playoff matches in London this week. Teenage sensation Luke Littler has been the commanding star in the tournament this year after reaching 40 points, which is a joint-best tally.

Littler has built on his runner-up finish from the World Championship in his debut outing in the Premier League, winning four nights on his way to topping a very talented field of players. However, he will have a big assignment in his semi-final clash, as he comes up against Michael Smith, who was the 2023 world champion.

Smith arrives into the playoffs in excellent recent form after winning the final regular season round of action in Sheffield last Thursday. The former world champion also boasts an excellent record over Littler after winning five of their previous seven encounters.

Reigning world champion Luke Humphries is also still in the mix on his debut outing in the Premier League. He showcased his very best form between weeks six and eight, winning in all three events. Michael Van Gerwen is always hard to dismiss, despite winning just four nights and crashing out in the opening round on eight occasions.
