The upcoming round features one of the biggest games in Europe, the derby between Manchester United and Liverpool, arguably the two most decorated clubs in England.

Before Betting on Manchester United vs. Liverpool

Erik Ten Hag still didn’t do anything good with United’s defense, which has looked rather poor for quite some time now. Instead of boosting this part of the unit, Ten Hag has been splurging money on various offensive players, and now we’re witnessing the fallout in the back line.

In eight matches, including preseason games, the Red Devils have managed to secure just two clean sheets. Occasionally, the offense has been able to mask the defensive shortcomings, but that’s not always how it goes, and that’s why we often see United losing matches.

Arne Slot’s boys found the net in each half, easily solving Brentford, who came to Anfield to compete and not to park the bus in front of the goal. The Bees had their chances, though, only a few, but they still couldn’t do anything notable against one of the top title contenders.

Slot is still trying to figure out what is best for the team and results, and we haven’t seen Liverpool’s maximum in terms of offense. But what many seem to overlook is the fact that the Reds posted two wins without a goal scored, and even though the rivals weren’t big names, this needs to be respected.
