A Midlands derby will be staged at the City Ground this weekend, as Nottingham Forest bid to maintain their unbeaten start to the 2024-25 season when they come up against Wolves. But, which side will claim maximum points in the East Midlands?

Before Betting On Nottingham Forest vs Wolves

An interesting fixture is set for the City Ground on Saturday, as Nottingham Forest will be looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the new Premier League season. This weekend’s clash will also see Nuno Espirito Santo come up against his former side, as Wolves chase a response after shipping six goals against Chelsea last weekend.

Forest registered a first win of the new season at the second attempt on Saturday after landing a 1-0 success at Southampton. The East Midlands side dominated proceedings against the newly promoted side, registering 23 shots in that fixture. However, their only goal in the success was netted with 20 minutes remaining by Morgan Gibbs-White.

It has been a damning start to the new Premier League season for Wolves, as they currently sit inside the relegation places in the competition. Gary O’Neill’s side have already allowed eight goals across their two matches, with six of those shipped in their stunning 6-2 home loss against Chelsea on Sunday. It was the first time since March 2007 that Wolves had conceded six goals in a match at Molineux.

Wolves are unbeaten in their last four league matches against Forest, but each of the last three have ended in draws. Forests’ most recent home league win against Wolves was recorded in the second tier in March 2013. Since then, they have lost three of the six meetings between the sides at the City Ground.
