The second international break of the season gives Premier League teams the opportunity to take stock of the position that they find themselves in.
It is also considered a good time to part company with managers, meaning that there remains pressure on Erik ten Hag following Man United’s lacklustre draw at Aston Villa.
But, what have been some of the biggest market movers following the seventh round of matches in the EPL?
Arsenal Continue to Shorten in EPL Outright Odds
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have been cut in the outright odds once again, previously being available at +150 after news of Rodri’s season-ending injury for Man City.
However, following their 3-1 win over Southampton at the Emirates, the Gunners are now available at +135 with BetOnline.
Man City have drifted from +135 to +175, despite winning at home against Fulham on Saturday.
Liverpool have come in for significant attention, as Arne Slot’s side have won six of their opening seven. The Reds were widely available at +600 before the season, but they are near half that price at +350 now.
Chelsea had been muted as dark horse contenders before their 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest. The home draw has seen them drift out to +2000.
Tottenham and Man United Top Four Hopes Questioned
We liked the chances of both Man United and Tottenham to finish in the top four at the start of the season. However, at this stage, neither side look to have the quality to compete for a Champions League spot.
The Red Devils have drifted heavily from +200 to +800 with BetUS to finish in the UCL spots in 2024-25. Long-standing questions surrounding ten Hag’s future will need to be addressed after going five without a win.
Tottenham have also drifted to +275 from +200 after throwing away a 2-0 lead at Brighton to suffer a 3-2 loss.
Chelsea has been the most supported team in the BetUS top four market, going from +250 to -140 over the last couple of months.
Winless Southampton and Wolves Both Cut in Price
Four winless teams remain in the Premier League at this stage. Wolves had been as big as +500 to suffer relegation this term, but they are now available at +150 following a heavy 4-1 defeat at Brentford.
Southampton also remain winless, despite producing a better display at the Emirates on Saturday. The Saints have been cut to -400 from +200 at the start to the season to suffer relegation.
Everton’s price has eased after being narrowly odds against before the start of the season. The Toffees are now available at +225.
Promoted Ipswich and Leicester remain favored to join Southampton back in the Championship, with both odds-on to finish in the bottom three spots.
