The fixtures for the 2023-24 Premier League season were released on Thursday morning, and all attention will quickly turn toward the opening day of the new season. It promises to be a fascinating campaign at both ends of the standings, but which teams could be in the hunt for the Premier League title?

Before Betting On Premier League Winner

It was a season to remember for Manchester City in 2022-23, as they emulated the feat of Manchester United in 1999 by winning the treble. In the Premier League, City won a third straight title under Pep Guardiola. However, they will be looking to achieve something in 2023-24 that no previous side has managed, as they bid to win a fourth straight title.

City will undoubtedly be the team to catch once again in the upcoming season, and they could get even stronger over the summer months. The club are already looking to bring in Chelsea star Matteo Kovacic, while Guardiola will also be looking at options in the full-back positions.

Arsenal pushed City the closest in the Premier League last term, but that was a shock given Mikel Arteta’s side were tipped by many to struggle to achieve a European spot. They will have the added benefit of Champions League action to boost their chances of signing top stars this summer, but it could ultimately see their attention on the Premier League slip slightly.

Liverpool endured a miserable season in 2022-23, as they finished outside the Champions League spots. However, the Reds have often bounced back from disappointing campaigns in impressive fashion, and they have the quality around the pitch to lay down a claim to be in the title race.

Manchester United enjoyed an excellent first campaign under Erik ten Hag, but a number nine will be needed this summer if they are to bridge the gap on the top of the standings next season.

The odds certainly tell the story when it comes to the dominance enjoyed by City throughout the previous season. However, winning four titles on the bounce is incredibly challenging. Therefore, we could see the title changing hands next season, with Liverpool being our standout selection at the current prices available.
