Before Betting On Premier League Winner
One of the most interesting races for the Premier League title in recent memory looks set to go down to the wire this term. Three teams remain in the hunt for the top prize with just under a month of the campaign remaining. Man City will be chasing a historic fourth straight success, while Arsenal are looking for their first title in 20 years. Meanwhile, Liverpool will be looking for a second success under Jurgen Klopp ahead of the German’s departure.
Man City’s hunt for history has been relatively straightforward to this stage, with the reigning champions having won 22 of their 32 matches this season. They also boast the advantage of having two games in hand over Arsenal, meaning that the destiny of the title is in their hands. But, they will need to remain focused, with their biggest match during the run in coming away from home against Tottenham on May 14.
Arsenal came extremely close to ending their wait for the Premier League title last season, but they fell apart in the final month of the season. The Gunners have already wobbled in recent weeks after dropping to a home loss against Aston Villa, but they restored their advantage with a comfortable 5-0 success over Chelsea on Tuesday. It could be argued that Arsenal have the most difficult run-in, with away matches against Tottenham and Man United coming up over the last month.
Liverpool will be considered the dark horses in the betting, but they remain second in the standings at this stage. The Reds have suffered just three defeats in 33 matches this term, but draws have plagued their chances after being held on eight occasions. But the Reds have huge matches between now and the end of the season, with showdowns against Tottenham and Aston Villa to come.
Premier League Winner Offshore Odds & Pick
It appears hard to overlook City’s chances of a fourth straight title at this stage, with the reigning champions having a far more straightforward end to the season. We expect them to pip Arsenal to the championship on the final day of the campaign.
