PSG’s Kylian Mbappe and his coach Thomas Tuchel went into one furious argument near the sidelines during tonight’s Ligue One match. It is something which immediately triggered massive speculations on the social networks, and also frightened the Saints’ fans.

Mbappe Furious at his Coach

Paris Saint Germain defeated Montpellier this Saturday night with 5-0. It was yet another fantastic performance of the French champions. It the center of attention was Neymar with his hludacris haircut. The Brazilian is not just the maestro for creating publicity on, but off the field too.

However, one particular situation cast a shadow on his appearance and caused many PSG fans to feel uncomfortable.

After 68 minutes of play, the home team was leading by five goals, and the German head coach decided to pull out his biggest star and the most valuable player off the field. However, Mbappe didn’t share the same opinion.

The French player was very frustrated while coming off the pitch, and even Tuchel couldn’t calm him down. In fact, Mbappe didn’t want to talk with his coach, who was trying to stop him near the sidelines and tell him a few words. For several steps, the German chased Mbappe, not allowing PSG’s no.7 to walk past by him. In the end, Tuchel stopped the youngster and whispered several words into his ear.

Apparently, that didn’t have any impact on the flamboyant striker who just continued his walk towards the bench, ignoring his mentor.

Why did Tuchel Replace Mbappe?

Now, the speculations immediately appeared. One group of pundits and experts are saying that Mbappe’s frustration comes from the fact that he wants to chase several scoring records, meaning that every minute on the field means very much to him.

On the other side, many are claiming that the leader of the French national team has a clause in his contract, which allows him a bonus if he reaches a certain amount of goals during one championship.

These are all speculations, as we said, and something that hasn’t been confirmed. Right now, Mbappe has 22 goals scored in 25 appearances throughout all competitions, and by far, he is the most lethal weapon PSG has at the moment.

That is probably why Tuchel wants to preserve him for the Champions League challenges. In less than three weeks, the Saints play against Borussia Dortmund in Germany, and knowing what awaits him at Signal-Iduna Park, the former BVB coach wants to have all the players at his disposal.

Losing Mbappe for some injury would be devastating for PSG, but it appears that he can’t understand that quite well. However, Tuchel got what he wanted, even if that meant that Mbappe’s pride might have been injured a little bit.

On the other side, the fans are very worried, because some of them think that a scenario like this one might force the player’s exit from Parc des Princes. Real Madrid already expressed its wish to land him at Santiago Bernabeu, adding that the price is not important for them at all.

Several more disputes like this one, and we just might see that happening.
