After three years, PSG and Dortmund meet again in the Champions League group stage. They are probably in the toughest possible assembly with Newcastle and Milan, and all the contests here guarantee excitement.

Before Betting on PSG vs. Borussia Dortmund

PSG lost both Neymar and Lionel Messi this summer. They were on the verge of losing Mbappe as well, but apparently, the French superstar agreed to stay for one more year before taking off. However, all these turbulences have taken a toll on the team’s and the fans’ morale, and we do notice that there isn’t a flair in PSG’s performances.

The most recent event was at home against Nice, which ended with a 2-3 defeat. After two big victories, one over Lens and the other over Lion in which they managed to stuff seven goals, this came as a shock for the Saints, who did look lost against the team from the French Riviere. Mbappe is the only bright spot, scoring more than 3/4 of PSG’s goals, but all the other players in the team don’t follow the striker.

Borussia is still recovering from the shocking title loss in the final round last season. They’ve opened the Bundesliga campaign with two wins and ties, beating Koln and Freiburg while splitting points against Bochum and Heidenheim.

The past three games saw goals on both sides, while the most recent two ended with at least four hits. Millionaires have a talented attack, capable of hurting any defense in Europe, but they also have a very inconsistent defense with numerous flaws.

Borussia isn’t playing well away from home, and they struggle to beat much weaker teams than PSG in the Bundesliga. So the home-court edge is the only reason why we pick the hosts to triumph here and start the UCL with a victory.
