The NFL season is underway, with Week 1 in the books. Week 2 is filled with several more exciting games. This particular matchup features a clash between two AFC teams, the Las Vegas Raiders and the Baltimore Ravens.
Before Betting on Raiders vs Ravens
The Raiders have been stuck in the limbo of a rebuild for a while, failing to separate themselves in a competitive AFC West division. They haven’t won a playoff game since 2002, but have also avoided ranking near the bottom of the NFL. Doing so has made rebuilding through the draft difficult. Now in Las Vegas for the fifth year, the Raiders are hoping QB Gardner Minshew can provide the spark to lift them out of mediocrity.
Baltimore came up short in their opener against Kansas City on Thursday night, but played a good game. They took the two-time defending champions down to the wire on the road. A couple of missed throws by Lamar Jackson and Isaiah Likely’s toe ultimately kept the Ravens from winning it. Despite the loss, they are on good footing moving forward. Likely’s breakout is a really positive sign for a previously depleted receiving corps.
Raiders vs Ravens Offshore Odds
The Raiders face a mountain to climb in order to win this game in Baltimore. Coming off of a frustrating loss, the Ravens will be clawing tooth and nail to avoid going 0-2. They should overwhelm Las Vegas on both sides of the ball, especially at home. I expect the Ravens to pull away early and never look back. That being said, expect Minshew to score a few garbage time TDs late in the game and get close enough to cover the spread.
