The Los Angeles Rams travel to the East Coast to take on the New York Jets. LA (8-6) has won three straight and seven of nine since starting the season 1-4. They are tied with Seattle for first place in the NFC West. New York (4-10) is gaining more attention for off-field issues than its on-field disaster — no small feat. Our Rams vs Jets prediction is for favored LA to cover the 3-point spread.
Head-to-head, the Rams have won 10 of the 15 matchups.

Streaking Rams Closing in on Division Title
Los Angeles holds its destiny in its hands with three games remaining in the regular season. Their Week 14 win at home over Buffalo and Week 15 win in San Francisco neatly summarized their season.
Against the Bills, they won a 44-42 shootout that is arguably the most exciting game of the 2024 NFL season. Quarterback Matthew Stafford threw for 320 yards and two touchdowns.
Four days later in chilly and rainy San Francisco, both teams struggled to get their footing literally and figuratively. Stafford was missing receivers and was generally off his game. Still, he did not turn the ball over and drove his team for two fourth-quarter field goals to win 12-6.
In short, if LA keeps winning, they take the division title.
New York has been strong against the pass this season, so expect LA to rely heavily on the running game with Kyren Williams and Blake Corum.
Aaron Rodgers’ Softened Stance and the Jets’ GM Search
New York won its fourth game of the year in Jacksonville. During the week, quarterback Aaron Rodgers — who was widely expected to leave for less cursed pastures this offseason — suddenly turned uncharacteristically agreeable about remaining with the Jets in 2025 if he doesn’t retire.
This is not a pro-wrestling-style “face” turn. If he had options, the Jets would likely be far down the list. But looking across the league, there are few landing spots for him considering his apparent decline, that he can be a pain, and what teams are looking for in a QB.
This ties into the Jets’ GM search. Owner Woody Johnson has interviewed several people for the position with the most successful and intriguing name being former Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff.
On the field, the Jets’ situation might not be as terrible as their record suggests. A break here and a break there along with the owner not meddling and they could be in the playoff race.
The Rams are vulnerable if running back Breece Hall is healthy and Rodgers is as efficient as he was against Jacksonville.
Rams vs Jets Prediction: LA Won’t Let the Jets Stop Their March
Given how important the game is to the Rams, it’s difficult to see LA losing or it being all that close. LA should cover the 3-point spread.
