A couple of familiar combatants meet up on Monday night as the Toronto Raptors (6-4) and Chicago Bulls (5-6) complete the second leg of a home-and-home back-to-back. It was Toronto who pulled out a 113-104 win on Sunday at Scotiabank Arena so Chicago is looking for revenge in this Raptors vs Bulls matchup.

Before Betting on Raptors vs Bulls

One thing you always look for on the back-to-back is who is going to play and who is going to rest. Toronto welcomed Fred VanVleet’s return on Sunday night after he had missed the previous three games with back soreness and he responded with 30 points and 11 assists. VanVleet also played 39 minutes though so we will see how Nick Nurse chooses to use him on Monday night.

Chicago on the other hand rested Zach LaVine (knee) on Sunday, which would seemingly make him available to play back at home. LaVine is averaging 20.7 points on this young season so getting him back in the lineup would be a huge boost for the Bulls.

DeMar DeRozan had 20 points on Sunday playing at his old stomping grounds in Toronto. Nikola Vucevic added 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Bulls but not being able to beat the Raptors even as they start to play without Pascal Siakam (groin) for two weeks isn’t a good sign.

Raptors vs Bulls Prediction & Pick

The Bulls may have lost Sunday, but they’ve set themselves up to pick up the win on the second leg of this trip. VanVleet may sit and with Siakam already out – the Bulls getting LaVine back gives them the edge.
Pick: Bulls -3.5
