  • The Raptors are 8-31 and have the worst record in the Atlantic Division.
  • Golden State is 19-19 and is just a half-game out of the last spot in the Pacific Division.
  • These teams last played on Mar. 1, 2024, with the Dubs claiming a 120-05 victory.

One of the games on tap from Monday night’s NBA slate features the Toronto Raptors hosting the Golden State Warriors. Will Toronto end its losing skid in our Raptors vs Warriors prediction?

Raptors Continue To Struggle

The Raptors have already had a season they’d much rather forget, and we aren’t even at the halfway point. Following a 130-113 against the Brooklyn Nets on Jan. 1, Toronto has dropped its last five contests, including a 123-114 loss to the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night. Immanuel Quickley scored a team-high 25 points, including four 3-pointers.

Scottie Barnes finished with 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Gradey Dick contributed 13 points on 4-for-8 shooting from beyond the arc. Quickley knocked down a jumper that tied the game at 109. Unfortunately, the Raptors missed four free throws, allowing Detroit to take a four-point lead (113-109) with 3:48 left to play in regulation. Although the Raptors had seven players who scored in double figures, the effort wasn’t enough to prevent them from dropping their fifth straight game.

Warriors Look To Bounce Back From Loss Against Pacers

The Warriors enter this matchup on the heels of a 108-96 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Friday night. In a game in which it sat six players, Golden State still received a few solid contributions. Former Pacers guard Buddy Hield led the way with 17 points and five assists.

Pat Spencer led the team’s second unit with 17 points, and Dennis Schroder chipped in with 12 points and four assists. Golden State led 30-29 in the second quarter, but Indiana’s 17-2 outburst flipped the slim deficit into a 46-31 lead. While the Warriors cut the lead to single digits multiple times, they never led the rest of the way.

Raptors vs Warriors Prediction: Warriors Win An Ugly One

The Raptors are a certifiable train wreck. They have dropped their last five games and 16 of their previous 17 contests. Furthermore, they have four separate losing streaks comprised of at least four games this season. Meanwhile, after a 12-3 start, the Warriors have gone 7-16 and have lost three of their last four games. But in a battle between a pair of struggling teams, Golden State should have enough firepower to come out on top in this one.
