Despite having one of the NFL‘s most talented rosters, Baltimore has fallen two games behind Pittsburgh in the AFC North. With their earlier loss to the Steelers, their division title hopes are likely done.
The Giants are a mess.
Head-to-head, the Ravens lead 5-3. The teams played in Super Bowl XXXV. The Ravens destroyed the Giants 34-7.

The Ravens Have Their Perfect Tomato Can
Baltimore desperately needs a big win over New York for several reasons:
- They need the confidence boost after demoralizing losses to Pittsburgh in Week 11, and Philadelphia in Week 13.
- They are not yet guaranteed a playoff spot.
- If they do make the playoffs, they want to avoid Buffalo in the Wild Card round.
This is the perfect matchup for the Ravens. They had their bye in Week 14 and the Giants are an ideal foil.
On paper, the Ravens should blow the Giants off the field. They are third in the league in points per game, the Giants are last. Baltimore is second in rushing yards per game, the Giants are 29th in defensive rushing yards allowed per game. Although Baltimore’s pass defense is shaky, the Giants’ quarterbacks cannot get the ball downfield.
The Giants Are Reaching New Lows
In the grand scheme, the Giants are better off losing the rest of their games as they jockey for the highest draft position possible. Still, the Week 14 loss at home to New Orleans was an accomplishment.
After trailing the whole game, New York’s emerging star running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. scored a touchdown with 4:11 remaining. They converted on a 2-point attempt to get within a field goal. After stopping the Saints on a three-and-out, quarterback Drew Lock marched them into kicker Graham Gano’s range for a tying 35-yard field goal…and it was blocked.
Regardless of the apparent decision to switch from Lock back to Tommy DeVito, it won’t matter much. They’re going to look for a new quarterback either in the draft or through free agency.
As for the coaching staff and general manager, there have been no substantive leaks either way regarding general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll.
The Giants have shown some fight in their past two games against Dallas and New Orleans. Maybe they can challenge Baltimore before inevitably losing.
Ravens vs Giants Prediction: Baltimore Will Put Up the Points
The Ravens have ravaged weak defenses in 2024. They scored 41 against Denver and 30 against the Los Angeles Chargers—two of the better defenses in the league. The Giants cannot stop them, and Baltimore will light up the scoreboard.
