Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are about to make a classic at Santiago Bernabeu this Wednesday night. The first UCL semifinal leg ended 2-2, so both teams have an active result now.

Before Betting on Real Madrid vs. Bayern Munich

The Madridians have been confident in Munich, but a blitz Bayern had at the start of the second half ruined that impression. Other than that, Los Blancos played good, rational football, and the final result could have been better if it hadn’t been for that short blackout.

A very good prelude to this event was Real’s win over Cadiz, 3-0, which sealed another La Liga title. The whole stadium and the fanbase were, for a moment, relaxed, along with the team, who certainly received a morale boost. Just to say that the Madridians are unbeaten at home this year.

Bayern lost in Stuttgart yet that was of no concern for both Tuchel and the fans who weren’t into this event that much. The focus of the whole team is on this Wednesday, and the rematch. They’ve shown that Real can be wounded, though, in Munich. However, this unit has enough experience, with several top-class guys who are present here for a long time.

Now, the bad news is Bayern’s performances away from home. Only three wins over the recent ten outings aren’t boosting the confidence at all, and Tuchel needs to tighten up the team, particularly the defense. Bayern allowed a goal in all events throughout this span. Also, all but one of them were with three or more goals, and the Bavarians allowed two or more hits in eight.

The last paragraph explains pretty much everything why are we going to bet on the hosts? Bayern has plenty of issues on the road, so even though they are a big team and one of the most decorated in the history of the competition, we don’t believe they can avoid a defeat in Madrid.
