There are certain talks that Ronda Rousey might be back in the octagon this or next year. Some are suggesting that the UFC 300 might feature Rowdy, but who will be her opponent?

Before Betting on Ronda Rousey’s Comeback Opponent

The first female mixed martial arts superstar was Ronda Rousey. Back at the time, she was the face of the organization, taking the whole UFC to another level.

UFC inducted her into the Hall of Fame, being the first lady to earn that honor. She was the first UFC bantamweight champion, defending that belt six times. She holds the record of 12 wins and two losses, with those two happening against Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes in her last two bouts.

Rousey would later enter WWE, where she had a very good career, while before her UFC stint, she competed at the Beijing Olympics in 2008, taking the bronze medal in judo.

With Amanda Nunes out of the picture due to her pause/retirement, the top contender on the list of challengers is Juliana Penna, who held the belt for some time after beating Nunes at UFC 269. Rousey could very easily end up in the title match against the Venezuelan Vixen, who is first in line to get a shot at the title.

Raquel Pennington and Macy Chiasson are next on the list of potential rivals, but to be honest, we are more intrigued with the prospects of seeing a rematch between Rousey and Holly Holm, and if we were to bet here this would be our pick. This event would sell itself in unreal numbers.

Holm cracked Rousey’s aura, and from that KO, things have started to decline for Rowdy. There wouldn’t be a better way to make a comeback story than to face your old nemesis.

Norma Dumont, Chelsea Chandler, and Irene Aldana are also in the mix, but their chances are slimmer than the rest of the girls’.
