Before Betting on Royals vs Giants June 13
The San Francisco Giants might find themselves in a little bit of a letdown spot on Monday night after a sweep of the Dodgers over the weekend. That emotional battle between NL West rivals had a playoff feel even though we are only in mid-June, and the success helped the Giants climb to within 3.5 games of L.A. in the division.
The Kansas City Royals will take a letdown game from the Giants, as they head to the West Coast after dropping two straight against last place Baltimore. KC is still a dangerous team though, especially on offense where they’ve put up 7+ runs in four of their last five.
Brady Singer (3-1, 4.33 ERA) goes for the Royals in his sixth start of the year after a stint in the minor leagues. Things started off well with 0ER allowed over 14.0 IP against the Twins and White Sox, but he’s allowed 13 ER over his last 15.2 IP.
The Giants scored just 3 and 2 runs on Saturday and Sunday but it was still good enough to get the win against L.A’s #1 offense in baseball thanks to solid pitching. Alex Wood (3-5, 4.23 ERA) will try to continue that trend as he looks like he’s settled down in allowing just 3 ER over his last two starts after giving up 11 in the three outings prior.
