Before Betting On Saudi Arabian Grand Prix

The F1 action continues in the Middle East this weekend, as the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix takes place at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. A total distance of 308 km will be covered by the field this weekend, with a total of 50 laps contested. Sergio Perez comes into the weekend as the previous winner of the race, with other victors since the race’s inception in 2021 being Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen.

The latter of those made a dominant start to the new season after finishing over 20 seconds clear of Sergio Perez in the Bahrain Grand Prix last Saturday. It was a comfortable afternoon for the Dutchman, as he bids to retain his Drivers’ Championship. However, crazy season in F1 has already got underway, and there are growing rumors that the Dutchman could be set for a staggering switch to Mercedes.

It was a weekend to forget for the chasing pack last weekend in Bahrain, with Ferrari and Mercedes both forced to deal with issues that impacted their race pace last Saturday. The latter appeared to struggle throughout the weekend, and it could be challenging to make a case for either Lewis Hamilton or George Russell given that this weekend’s race will be staged in similar conditions.

However, Ferrari boasted excellent pace throughout the race, and that could be key in a race that is one of the quickest on the calendar. McLaren would have also been happy with their first outing of the season, and they could be hard to overlook in terms of a podium finish this weekend.
