Its been a wild night all over the NFL, after the ending of the 2019 regular campaign. Up until now, we have three major news, which will no doubt cause huge consequences.

Giants Fire Pat Shurmur

NYG will look for a new head coach starting this Monday. According to various sources, the team from the Big Apple decided to part ways with Pat Shurmur, who was in charge there for the last two seasons.

Giants (4-12) finished this season under expectations, but truth to be told, they didn’t have a team capable of doing more than this.

Shurmur came to New York at the wrong time, with the franchise in decline, desperate for a rebuilt. In the meantime, Odell Beckham Jr. was traded to Cleveland, and the overall situation in the team wasn’t very well handled. According to some sources, Shurmur wanted to bench Eli Manning for young rookie Daniel Jones much earlier than he actually did, but some senior executives were against that.

During his tenure with the Giants, the franchise won just nine times, losing on 23 occasions. The Giants will be looking for their third head coach in the last five years.

Kitchens Out

Freddie Kitchens is no longer the head coach of the Cleveland Browns. That news was revealed last night, and after only one season, Kitchens will have to leave FirstEnergy Stadium. After his departure, he said to Adam Schefter that he thought that the management has trust in him, but it turned out otherwise.

The Browns are, without a doubt, the biggest disappointment of the season. Their meteoric rise was announced all over the media during the preseason, and according to many, with Odell Beckham on board, they even had the potential to be dark horses in the Super Bowl quest.

But all that burst like a bubble balloon, leaving their fans in anger and frustration. The Browns only occasionally showed glimpses of their potential, like in Baltimore, when they slashed the Ravens in Week 5, 40-25. Yet, in the majority of the situations, they utterly failed to meet expectations.

The franchise from Cleveland ended the season with 6 wins and 10 losses.

Redskins Fire President, to Hire Ron Rivera

Washington Redskins also decided to make radical changes. The management decided that it is time to say goodbye to Bruce Allen, whose been team president for 10 years.

During his tenure, the franchise hasn’t won a single playoff game and is currently on a 14-year drought when talking about the postseason victory. He would change head coaches, often mess into football matters and look to have control over the organization.

However, his tenure has come to an end.

The Redskins were 3-13 this season, and they have fired Jay Gruden after the opening five losses of the campaign. Bill Callahan stepped in, but he too couldn’t change anything, with a toxic environment in the locker room overwhelming the team.

Ron Rivera is mentioned as the next head coach, and according to many sources, it is just a matter of time before he makes a deal with the franchise from DC.
