The Formula 1 action continues this weekend, as the streets of the Marina Bay Circuit will host the Singapore Grand Prix. This weekend’s race kickstarts the race to the end of the season, but it looks unlikely that anyone will be getting near Max Verstappen in the race for the Drivers’ Championship.

Before Betting On Singapore Grand Prix

One of the most exciting races on the Formula 1 calendar takes place this weekend, as the Singapore Grand Prix is staged on the Marina Bay Street Circuit. There is typically chaos in this race, with every race since its inception seeing at least one safety car.

Drivers will complete a total distance of 308.706km, with Sebastian Vettel being the most successful driver in the history of the race with five victories. Meanwhile, Red Bull, Ferrari, and Mercedes are all tied with four wins to make up the leading constructors. Sergio Perez showcased his dominance on street circuits 12 months ago, as he landed victory by nearly three seconds from Charles Leclerc.

Red Bull have been dominant throughout the season to this point, as they have won all 14 races on the calendar. That includes victories in each of the last ten for Max Verstappen, who has stretched his championship advantage over Perez to what seems like a winning position.

Ferrari closed the gap on the Red Bulls at Monza in the previous round, with Carlos Sainz taking third ahead of his teammate. However, Mercedes could be better placed to throw down a challenge this weekend, as Lewis Hamilton could move up to third in the standings this weekend with a positive result.

Verstappen’s dominance is hard to overlook ahead of this weekend. However, all is not right with the Red Bull team, which means that this could be the weekend to take them on. Therefore, we will be siding with Hamilton to land a shock win.
