Sporting Kansas City hopes to use LA FC’s struggles and win at home against the reigning MLS champs.

The hosts showed signs of improvement following a very poor start to the championship. They had a stretch of extremely poor performances but now ride a four-game defeatless streak during which they posted three wins and one tie.
All of those four events were with both teams netting, while just one saw in the past five didn’t see three or more goals. SKC won the previous four games at home, scoring at least twice in each of the events.
The situation is completely different with the FC, who can’t win since mid-may, and right now has five losses and a tie in the last six contests across all the competitions. They were eliminated from the US Open Cup and then failed to win the CONCACAF Champions League losing to Club Leon in the finals.
Believe it or not, the FC couldn’t score in five of those six contests, which is an incredible fact. They were one of the best teams in all of the Americas, primarily relying upon hard and very efficient attacks.

The hosts are playing good football, but even though we wouldn’t bet on their win, yer rather take over 2.5 goals. At some point, LA FC will have to start scoring, and with SKC’s offensive-minded approach, they should be able to break the cold streak here.
