The soccer action across Europe’s biggest leagues continues on Sunday, December 1. You can find our soccer picks today for fixtures taking place in the Bundesliga, Serie A, and La Liga here.

Bundesliga Soccer Picks

Mainz vs. Hoffenheim

Mainz come into the round in fine form after winning each of their last two in the Bundesliga.

However, they haven’t won three on the bounce since March 2023. Hoffenheim recorded a 4-3 win over Leipzig last weekend, but they are without a win in their first five on the road this term. But, Christian Ilzer’s arrival could reverse their fortunes at MEWA Arena on Sunday.

Heidenheim vs. Eintracht Frankfurt

Eintracht Frankfurt are enjoying their best start to a season since the introduction of three points for a win in 1995. In fact, they have scored a staggering 27 goals in eleven matches this season, which is their best return since 1993-94.

Heidenheim are without a win in their last six, and the fact that Frankfurt have won their last three against their opponents makes an away win the standout selection.

Serie A Soccer Picks

Udinese vs. Genoa

Udinese have suffered just a single defeat in their last 14 matches against Genoa. The defensive record of the hosts also deserves extra attention this weekend, as they have kept clean sheets in nine of their last 14 home matches against Genoa.

The visitors have played out draws in each of their last two, but it remains difficult to overlook the chances of a home victory on Sunday.

Parma vs. Lazio

Parma have suffered defeats in each of their last nine against Lazio, conceding a total of 21 goals over that period. Lazio have also won on each of their last four visits to Ennio Tardini.

The Rome-based club have also won each of their last five in the league, and a sixth straight victory would mark their best run of form since 2021. Parma’s poor home record could be the key trend, as no side has lost more regularly in front of their own fans in Serie A this term.

Torino vs. Napoli

Torino upset the odds in this exact fixture last season, ending a run of seven defeats in eight home matches against Napoli.

The home side have earned just four points from their last eight matches, with no side in Italy having collected fewer over that period. Napoli’s form remains strong, and they will require a victory to ensure that they remain at the head of the standings.

La Liga Soccer Picks

Villarreal vs. Girona

Girona boast an impressive away record against Villarreal, winning on three of their last four visits to El Madrigal. Across all competitions, Villarreal have won six of their last seven against this weekend’s opponents.

They also come into this round in excellent recent form, avoiding defeat in their last four. Girona’s form is contrasting, losing each of their last three. A home win looks to be the best angle.

Rayo Vallecano vs. Athletic Bilbao

Vallecano have failed to win in their last five home matches against Bilbao, with three ending in victories for the visitors. Bilbao have won ten of their 14 matches against Vallecano in La Liga, keeping shut outs in each of the last three.

Bilbao’s record so far this season is also worth special attention, as they have lost just once in their last ten. The in-form visitors could prove difficult to overlook.

Real Sociedad vs. Real Betis

Sociedad have avoided defeat in their last three against Real Betis in the league, keeping clean sheets in all matches over that period. The hosts have also lost just once in their last 15 matches against Betis at Anoeta.

However, the fact that Sociedad have lost five of their last eight home matches should be taken into account. But, the chances of a home victory are enhanced after Betis have lost three of their last six on the road.
