Friday night’s South Florida vs UTSA matchup should feature plenty of offense and to be honest the 66.5 total from the offshore sportsbooks looks on the low side. USF runs more plays per game than any other team in the nation (84.2) while Texas-San Antonio is averaging 39.6 ppg during their current six game win streak.

Before Betting on South Florida vs UTSA

The Bulls (5-5) are over two TD road underdogs for their visit to Texas, and the line makes since considering UTSA (7-3) is on a six game win streak and is one of three teams still unbeaten in AAC conference play. The Roadrunners have also been good at covering the number during their current run, going 4-1-1 ATS over their last six.

Friday night’s game does feature a very exciting QB matchup. UTSA’s Frank Harris is one of the most experienced players in college football as he wraps up his 4th year as the Roadrunners’ starting signal caller. Harris does have some work to do to catch last year’s numbers of 4,063 and 32 TDs but UTSA is still winning which is the most important statistic.

South Florida quarterback Byrum Brown will try to do his part in keeping USF in what could very well be an offensive masterpiece. Brown has thrown for 315+ yards in consecutive games and had 5 TD passes in the Bulls’ 59-50 loss at Memphis in week 10.

South Florida vs UTSA Week 12 Prediction & Pick

It’s senior night at the Alamodome and the last time that Harris will appear in front of the UTSA faithful. While their will be an electric atmosphere, it’s hard to give +16 points to this USF offense that is 16th in the country in total yards per game (455.2) and runs such a fast pace that wears opposing defenses down.

Pick: South Florida +16
