It has been a slower start to the 2024-25 campaign for Stuttgart, while Borussia Dortmund will be hoping for a third win in four since the appointment of Nuri Sahin.

Before Betting

Both Dortmund and Stuttgart enjoyed campaigns to remember in 2023-24, with the latter finishing second in the overall standings against all odds.

It has been another decent start to the campaign for Stuttgart this term after avoiding defeat in two of their three opening matches.

Huge confidence would have also been gained from the problems that they gave Real Madrid on their return to the Champions League in midweek.

Serhou Guirassy is a player worth watching this weekend. The striker netted 28 goals in 28 Bundesliga appearances for Stuttgart last term before making the move to Borussia Dortmund in the summer.

Stuttgart completed the double over Dortmund last season, with their first win in November ending a five-game victory against their rivals.

Due to both teams being in Champions League action in midweek, this will be a cagey affair in the Bundesliga on Sunday. It’s likely that both German sides will see a draw as a positive result.
