Right now, they are 3-5, and aren’t looking good at all when talking about their overall performances. Meanwhile, the Ravens lost twice, but both those losses came against their biggest conference rivals, and it seems that a certain dose of doubt appeared among their fans. Many of them think now that Lamar Jackson chokes once meeting big names across the field.

The Moment of Truth For Patriots
We are aware that New England isn’t a shadow of a team from the previous years, but still, there is something that simply isn’t allowing us to see them as the underdogs. Newton, Edelman, or maybe Bill Belichick, or even the fact that they won six titles, forces us to believe that they might rise above all the adversities.
A match against the Jets that they won with 30-27, was disappointing for every NE fan. The franchise from the Big Apple is the weakest team in the league, and the Pats managed to struggle against them.
Cam Newton’s performance was encouraging, though. Even though he had troubles, he didn’t lose composure, now allowing a turnover. He would end the game with 274 passing yards and two rushing scores. Not bad at all.
Ravens’ Search for Confidence
Everything is ok for the franchise from Baltimore, until they have to play a big game. Once that happens, they are gone, and that especially goes for Lamar Jackson. At first, Kansas City Chiefs defeated them, and the most recent loss from two weeks ago was against the division rivals, Steelers. In both matches, LJ had subpar performances.
The Ravens are among the best teams in the league in multiple aspects, but we find their defense to be terrifying, especially after landing Yannick Ngakoue. He will appear without his teammate from the Jaguars in this one, Calais Campbell, but with all other stars, that won’t be a problem.
So far, the Ravens have allowed 17.8 points per game among the fewest in the NFL, but as we said, they weren’t that confident against big teams.

In 2019, the Ravens defeated New England at home, 37-20, and that was the moment when everybody acknowledged them as the new force in the league.
Prediction
Ravens shouldn’t have any problems with New England, who is right now a mediocre team. We are positive that Newton won’t have a pleasant night, against Baltimore’s defense. He will receive a lot of beating if he decides to run. So from our point of view, the Ravens should cover the 7-point spread without any problems.
