Super Bowl LVII is set to be one of the better matchups in recent years. The Philadelphia Eagles, led by Jalen Hurts, walked easily to the top seed in the NFC. The Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes are no strange to The Big Game, and they were the top seed in the AFC.
The over/under for the game is set around the 50.5 mark, and for some comparison, last year’s Super Bowl was a 23-20 final score.
Some Things To Consider In Super Bowl LVII
The Eagles defense has been one of the best units this season — they are 7th in points allowed per game (20.2). The Eagles are 1st in sacks and 4th in interceptions, so the defense is a huge reason why they have gotten this far.
But, the offenses from both sides have been the calling card. The Eagles are 3rd in points per game, 3rd in yards, 9th in passing yards, and 5th in rushing yards.
The Chiefs are 1st in points scored, yards per game and passing yards, and just 20th in rushing yards. However, everybody knows this team’s success sits on the arm of Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs are also 2nd in third-down efficiency at 48.7 percent.
The bottom line is this: Points can be scored in a bunch.
With all of that, let’s examine the total touchdown props for both teams.

Prediction
Everybody likes to see points scored, right? Well, these are the two teams for that. The biggest question will be if the Chiefs can score on the tough Philadelphia defense. However, the Eagles haven’t faced anybody as good as the Kansas City offense, and there’s a reason why Patrick Mahomes and company are the top group in the NFL.
There’s a very realistic path in which both teams score three touchdowns and go over their 2.5 prop, but it could also be a low-scoring affair with both teams deciding to slow down the other.
Nonetheless, a final score in the 34-31 range seems like a very likely outcome, and that means four touchdowns from each team. Hit the over on both.
Prediction: Eagles over 2.5 touchdowns (-182) and Chiefs over 2.5 touchdowns (-167)
