- Tennessee obliterated Kent State in an unbalanced matchup, winning by a score of 71-0.
- Oklahoma held off Tulane in their victory on Saturday, winning 34-19, and rising to 3-0.
- These two teams last met on September 12, 2015, in a game that Oklahoma won 31-24.
Tennessee will have the advantage in this game, despite being on the road. They are expected to claim a spot in this year’s expanded CFP. Oklahoma won’t be an easy out, though. This one should come down to the wire.
Before Betting on Tennessee vs Oklahoma
Tennessee has played exceptional football so far. They outscored their first three opponents 191-13, asserting their dominance. Whether or not the Volunteers are in contention for the SEC title or just beating up on bad teams is yet to be determined. Their first true test comes this week, when they face Oklahoma on the road. Freshman QB Nico Iamaleava still has some room for improvement. He’ll aim to take a step forward this week.

Oklahoma is off to a 3-0 start in their first season since joining the SEC. That being said, they’ve had a couple of close calls. A 16-12 win over Houston in Week 2 didn’t inspire much confidence, and last week’s win over Tulane was only marginally better. The Sooners will have plenty more chances to prove their worth, though. They face five of the top seven teams: #6 Tennessee, #1 Texas, #5 Ole Miss, #7 Missouri, and #4 Alabama.
Tennessee vs Oklahoma Offshore Odds
Oklahoma will need to lean on their home-field advantage to have a chance at winning this game. Based on the first three weeks, it is likely that the Sooners aren’t playing at the same level as Tennessee. This game almost certainly won’t result in a massive blowout, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a bit more lopsided than expected. The Volunteers are a title contender until proven otherwise. They should win this one fairly easily. I’ll say 41-20.
