Before Betting On The CJ Cup Byron Nelson

There will be exciting action on the PGA Tour this weekend, as the CJ Cup Byron Nelson is held at TPC Craig Ranch. This event will cover a total distance of 7,468 yards, with the par 72 event boasting a healthy purse of $9.5 million. Interestingly, it is one of just two events on the Tour that are named after a former professional golfer.

The best aggregate score in the competition was set in 2022 by Lee Kyoung-Hoon, who finished 26-under when landing victory. The Asian star is also one of four players to jointly hold the best aggregate score finish of 261, with Rory Sabbatini, Aaron Wise, and Jason Day also finishing with the same score.

Jordan Spieth is among the leading contenders to claim victory this weekend after finishing one shot behind Kyoung-Hoon in 2022. The American has looked back to somewhere near his best this year after finishing in the top 40 at the RBC Heritage after failing to make the cut at The Masters.

Si Woo Kim also brings excellent recent form into this weekend after finishing in a tie for 30th at The Masters earlier this month. Jason Day could also be a difficult challenger to overlook this weekend after previously landing victory at the CJ Cup. The Australian comes into this event in Texas after finishing in a tie for 18th at the RBC Heritage.
