The Thunder squeezed in the 10th place with back-to-back victories in the last two rounds, beating the Jazz on the road, 114-98, and the Memphis Grizzlies at home, 115-110. At one moment, they were in knockout, losing games in streaks, but bounced back in five minutes to twelve.
As time went by, the Thunder began tightening up their defense, and even though it still isn’t even solid, it reflected the results and six of OKC’s last ten events went under.
The Pelicans are without Zion, and all eyes are now on CJ McCollum and Ingram, who proved themselves in last year’s play-in tournament, playing good basketball and later on in the playoffs. As time goes by, many begin to think that Zion isn’t an advantage but a liability.
Their games were inefficient as well in the last few weeks, and 10 of the previous 13 were under. New Orleans’ form is on the rise, and the Pels won nine of the past 13 contests while being 5-1 at home.
