Seattle Needs to Wake Up
The Seahawks opened the year with 5-0, and after that, posted one win and three losses over four contests. The reasons for this last against the Rams were injuries and, apart from them, Russell Wilson’s poor performance.
We can’t quite remember when did Seattle’s quarterback finish the match without a touchdown. On the other side, we frequently see him turning over the football in the past few weeks. To be precise, he has 13 turnovers, the highest number after 10 games in his career.
Injuries are devastating for the Seahawks, with two of their starting running backs Carlos Hyde and Chris Carson out, but that can be covered. The offense can function without them two. However, not having Shaquill Griffin and Quinton Dunar is pretty problematic, because that leaves Jamal Adams alone, and he too has problems with his health.
Hail Kyler… or DeAndre
We strongly believe that the Cardinals will have the best QB-WR duo in the league next year. Murray will have two full years behind him, and Hopkins, on the other side, will be in his prime, with Larry Fitzgerald beside him to give guidelines. You need to admit that having one of the best ever behind you is a massive plus for any player.
The Cards won three of the previous four, proving accending form against the Bills, whom they defeated with a spectacular Hail Marry, thrown by Murray and caught by Hopkins. Arizona recovered from a massive shock once Stefon Diggs caught a TD pass with 34 seconds to go.
This comeback showed that Arizona isn’t a talented team anymore, but a real deal. Check this out, they have 432.8 yards per game, one of the highest in the league, which will be a massive advantage for them against the shorthanded secondary of the Seahawks.
Head to Head
Cards beat the Seahawks in a thrilling OT contest in late October. The game at the CenturyLink Field ended with 37-34 for the guests, with Zane Gonzales hitting a 48-yard FG with 15 seconds left in the OT. Wilson threw a pick on the previous drive.
Prediction
With the limit set for the total number of points at 58.5, we don’t have a single doubt about the two teams eclipsing this number. These sides have high-octane offenses, and are always trying to score more points than the rivals. They embraced this philosophy instead of relying upon the defense to make the difference, and for now, it provides decent results.
