The Timberwolves (31-31) will try to push past .500 and at the same time stop a two game losing skid when they visit Golden State (30-30) on Sunday night. These two teams have split two games in the Twin Cities so far this season, and the Warriors aren’t as big of favorites as one might think heading back to the Chase Center.
Before Betting on Timberwolves vs Warriors
Minnesota continues to try and battle through the Karl-Anthony Towns calf injury as the big man hasn’t played since November 28th. The Timberwolves are surviving without Towns, sitting in 7th in the West which would have them in the play-in tournament.
The Wolves had a disappointing return from the All-Star break, falling 121-113 at home to Charlotte on Friday as -7 point favorites. A 29-point outing from Anthony Edwards wasn’t enough and Minnesota has also dropped to 1-3 since acquring Mike Conley as part of a 3-team deal.
We all keep waiting for Golden State to get their game in gear, because the defending champs are just a play-in tournament team at the moment currently sitting in the #9 seed. You normally don’t worry about the Warriors at home (23-7) because it’s their road woes that are most concerning (7-23) but this is a team befelled by injuries that will have Steph Curry (knee) and Andrew Wiggins (personal) out of the lineup as well as seeing Draymond Green (knee) with a questionable tag.

Timberwolves vs Warriors Prediction & Pick
You would hammer a healthy Golden State team at -2 on Sunday night but this is a team that is not full strength. The Warriors have dropped four of their last six and this one looks like it goes the Timberwolves way.
