Tom Aspinall has a chance to avenge his loss to Curtis Blaydes from two years ago. The Razor didn’t beat Aspinall back then in terms of overpowering him in the octagon because the Englishman suffered an injury and could not continue the fight.

Before Betting on Tom Aspinall vs. Curtis Blaydes UFC 304

Following that loss vs. Blaydes in July 2022, Aspinall bounced back with wins over Marcin Tybura, a first-round KO, and against Sergei Pavlovich, whom he also knocked out in the opening round. That battle was for the UFC interim heavyweight title, and may we add that Aspinall looked more than confident.

He is one hell of a puncher, winning 11 of his 14 battles via knockout. The other three were after submission, and we have to say that Aspinall finds his way around on the mat very well. He has some notable wins in his bio, like those against Alexander Volkov, Andrei Arlovski, Serghei Spivac, etc.

Razor is the guy who is too good to fall out from the top ten but has too many flaws to reach the belt. Although, this will be his chance to take one. He was KOd by Pavlovich in April last year but returned with a win over Jailton Almeida at the UFC 299.

Blaydes has 18 wins and four losses in his career: two vs. Ngnannou, one against Derrick Lewis, and the most recent against Pavlovich. That tells us he can’t defend well against power-punchers. He is a very good wrestler with top cardio but with a fragile chin and poor defense.

Odds
Tom Aspinall1.35
Curtis Blaydes3.10

Aspinall is a guy with an extremely hard punch, and apart from that, he can restrain good wrestlers, partially with his physique and partially with his technical knowledge. This and the fact that he possesses a devastating KO punch are the reasons to bet on his victory.
