Manchester United heads to London, where they visit Tottenham Hotspur in the central event of the Premier League program next Saturday.

Before Betting on Tottenham vs. Manchester United

The Spurs played 2-2 against Brentford on the road, in an odd game that saw all four goals in the first 45 minutes. Tottenham took the lead, then allowed two goals before leveling the score just before the halftime whistle. There was plenty of turbulence in and around the team prior to this event, and the players probably weren’t fully focused on the game.

Ange Postecoglu needs to cover up Harry Kane’s departure. That will be challenging, especially now with all the potential replacements already sorting out their situations and statuses in other teams. The defense didn’t look well against an average Brentford attack, which is another thing this unit needs to solve.

Manchester United defeated Wolverhampton at Trafford, 1-0, but their game wasn’t promising at all. If there was any justice, the guests would have left Manchester unbeaten because the Wolves outplayed the Red Devils in all aspects of play. United had one period in which they played solid football, and other than that disappointed massively.

We can’t say what Erik Ten Hag’s plan with this team is, but it’s obvious that United needs to be better. Also, the lack of a target man in the attack is another problem United has to solve. Rashford isn’t one and he can’t play that role. Mason Mount didn’t show anything worth mentioning and is expected to be at a much higher level.

These teams have similar qualities and one mutual characteristic. Their attacks are better than their defenses despite all the issues, and this is why we pick both teams scoring here as the primary pick for Sunday’s contest.
