City Looking To Continue Winning Run
Manchester City are on the verge on creating history, as they are six wins away from claiming the world record for consecutive wins. Pep Guardiola’s side have been faultless in all competitions since their defeat against Tottenham Hotspur back in November, and that has put them into a commanding position of doing an unlikely quadruple this season. City are already into the final of the League Cup, and are sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League table, but there is a sense that Guardiola will likely be judged by what he can achieve in the Champions League this season.

There is no doubt that the German side are capable of a big performance, and that has been evident in the draws that they have achieved against Inter Milan and Real Madrid in the competition this season. However, Manchester City are a completely different animal from the sides that they have come up against previously.

The German side must get a positive result on Wednesday to stand any chance ahead of the return leg at the Etihad in the middle of March.
