PSG vs Bayern Munich Preview

After an interesting first leg between these two sides, we expect to see more fireworks in Paris. Bayern comes wounded to Parc des Princes, with several starters out for this clash. All these blows came in the worst possible moment for Hansi Flick and his crew. On the other end, the Saints, too, have several players out for the clash, but their most important ones are ready to go. Plus, the French team has a slight advantage from the first leg.

Saints Waiting for Counter-Attack

The French powerhouse used a few mistakes of the rivals in the first leg to gain a small but valuable lead coming into the rematch. As you saw, they were constantly threatening from counter-attacks, and on a couple of occasions, managed to score from the same.

Be sure that Pochettino won’t change anything in his game plan for Tuesday and that the focal points in PSG are going to be Kylian Mbappe and Angel Di Maria. These two use their superb speed and technique to get rid of the rivals and struck from transition, either scoring by themselves or setting up a chance for others.

This Saturday, we saw PSG trashing Strasbourg on the road, 1-4, and this was the fourth game for the Saints in the past five in which they scored three or more goals.

As said, Poch has some injury trouble with Bernat, Icardi, Veratti, and Marquinhos definitely out.

Hospital in Bayern

After Robert Lewandowski, Hansi Flick won’t count on several more players for the rematch. Kingsley Coman and Leon Goretzka are the latest names on the injury report. Serge Gnabry could be out as well, while Jerome Boateng’s health has been updated on a daily basis. All these guys are indispensable for Bayern.

But regardless of the starting 11 in Paris, Bayern will try to dominate and try to attack and break PSG’s, let’s say, fragile defense. The Germans didn’t have any luck in the first leg, having 31 shots on goal, and fantastic Keylor Navas on the other end.

Bayern played just 1-1 against Union Berlin on Saturday, escaping from a defeat in the final minutes of the clash. They haven’t won two in a row, which is a rare situation since Flick took over, so we might expect some sort of a reaction in Paris. After all, that is the most important game of the year for the Bavarians.

PSG vs Bayern Munich Head to Head

The first game ended 2-3 in PSG’s favor, with the French performing a blitz in the opening part of the game to reach a 0-2 advantage. Bayern responded, leveled the result at 2-2, but PSG managed to score one more goal, and have enormous luck after that to keep its net intact.

PSG vs Bayern Munich Prediction

We expect nothing but goals here, lots of them. Bayern has no other option but to attack, which creates an excellent environment to see an efficient match. Over 3.5 goals are priced at +100, and for us, this is the bet of the day.
