  • Napoli meets Barcelona at San Paolo Stadium.
  • Rangers host Borussia Dortmund in Glasgow.
  • Leicester visits Rangers FC in Denmark, in the Conference League.

We’ve picked two of the most interesting pairs of the UEFA Europa League round of 16 rematches. The one takes place in Naples where Barcelona visits Napoli, while the other kicks off at Ibrox.

Also, as a bonus preview, we’ve included Leicester’s clash in Denmark against Randers.

Napoli vs Barcelona

Barca was all over the Italians in the second 45 minutes of last week’s clash, but they simply couldn’t score. Blaugrana’s attack, primarily Ferran Torres, missed numerous chances to completely flip the result after being down one goal, and in the end, that might cost them dearly.Β

Napoli is solid at home, but comes into this event with three straight 1-1 performances. They struggled to deliver upfront without Victor Osimhen, who is now back on the pitch, looking as sharp as ever.

We don’t expect to see either Spaletti or Xavi with some special tactical assignments, and this should be a game with at least three goals. Both sides have problems with defenses, and their attacks are much better than the rival’s back lines. Due to that, our pick is over 2.5 goals or both teams to score.

Glasgow Rangers vs Borussia Dortmund

The fact that the Gers struck four times in Dortmund is an achievement worthy of massive respect. We aren’t getting into whether was Borussia weakened without Haaland and those types of talks, because that doesn’t matter. The Rangers had one of their best games in the last couple of years.

Meanwhile, the Millionaires had a meltdown in front of their crowd yet managed to bounce back just a few days later, smashing Borussia Monchengladbach 6-0. That was something that boosted the morale of Marco Rose’s unit, and the former European champs are heading for Scotland with high hopes. Also, they should be stronger for Haaland, who is reportedly getting back into the lineup this Thursday night.Β

Like in the previous case, this event will include a vast number of goals, and our first suggestion is to bet on over 2.5. The second would be to mix that with both teams to score and over 2.5 goals, to increase the odds and the profits if you aren’t satisfied with the original offer.

Randers vs. Leicester City

The Danish side managed to score a goal at Kings Power Stadium, but on the other hand, the Foxes struck four times. They are heading for Randers without any pressure wanting to close this chapter of their European story spending the least possible amount of energy.

Randers plays open football, the same as Leicester, who usually both scores and allows goals; therefore, our focus in this event is on high efficiency. The final pick here would be over both teams to score and over 2.5 goals. Leicester won’t be 100% in this game, but they will manage to score at least once, due to a vast difference between the Foxes’ attack and Randers’ defense. Also we expect to see the Danish side netting too.
