The UFC 245 is just two days away from us, and the excitement is slowly reaching its peak. There will be plenty of interesting fights going on, and the headliner of this event is the bout between Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington. Two co-main contests are Max Holloway vs. Alexander Volkanovsi and Amanda Nunes vs. Germaine de Randamie.

UFC 245 takes place in Las Vegas, at the T-Mobile Arena.

Usman vs. Covington: The Clash of Personalities

This is a rare occasion the see one event with so many title matches. Although some might say that the names involved are not among top superstars in the organization, UFC 245 really is a delight for all MMA fans.

The clash for the welterweight title will be the main event here. Kamaru Usman (15-1) will make his first title defense against Covington (14-1), who is the second-ranked challenger. Expect a good fight here, because these two seem to have something personal against one another.

They have the opposite personalities totally, with Usman being a humble guy who is one of the most beloved faces in the organization. Meanwhile, Covington is the villain, the one who often shows disrespect to his rivals, and isn’t hesitating to be provocative some times over the limit of allowed.

Right now, the odds are on Usman’s side, (-175), and according to the bookmakers, Covington’s chances in this one are not strong as his trash talk (+155)

Lioness Against de Randamie Vol.2

Amanda Nunes (18-4) is arguably the best female UFC fighter ever. The Lioness is on a streak of 8 wins, the longest since the establishment of this organization. She defeated all the great names in this sport and is eager to make history. However, on the other side, she has De Randamie (9-3), who is also fired-up, having five wins in a row. The last loss this Dutch muay thai legend suffered was against Nunes, and there is no doubt that she wants her revenge.

But that will be tough as hell, having in mind that Nunes easily defeated her in their first fight back at UFC: Fight for the Troops 3 in 2013. This will be the first year for de Randamie with two bouts, and nobody is sure how she recovered from the recent clash with Aspen Ladd in July.

Lioness is the absolute favorite here (-280), and among experts and the fans, just a few believe in de Randamie’s (+220) sensation.

Thunderstruck: Holloway vs. Volkanovski

This might not be the main event, but from our point of view, it definitely deserves the biggest attention of all the fights at UFC 245. Why? Well, we have two guys who have thunder in their fists, and above all, aren’t afraid to take a hit. This approach guarantees a spectacular fight, which might be even better than the headliner.

Holloway (21-4) is superb at 145 pounds, not losing a single fight in the previous 6 years, and posting 14 victories in a row. This is his fourth featherweight title defense. Volkanovski comes off wins against Jose Aldo and Chand Mendes and is one of the most entertaining fighters in the UFC.

Like in the previous two cases, the bookmakers believe in the champion. Holloway’s victory is priced at -170, and Volkanovski’s +150
