Blachowicz vs Adesanya Preview
The biggest match in the UFC so far this year takes place this Saturday night. Light heavyweight champion, Jan Blachowicz and the middleweight title-holder, Israel Adesanya, clash in arguably the most exotic match we’ve seen over the past couple of years. Two guys who are fantastic punchers and whose rise to the top was completely the opposite. Meteoric Adesanya, with his flashy appearance, and late-blossoming Blachowicz, who got a chance to take the belt at the end of his eventful career.

Jan’s Chance to Be Immortal
Adesanya is already one of the best fighters ever. And if Blachowicz wins tomorrow night, his name will be remembered forever. The Pole will become the first guy who stopped the undefeated Kiwi, and his explosive rise to greatness. Apart from that, Blachowicz will prove that he didn’t earn the title belt by luck, but that he has substantial quality.
When looking at his last few fights, the 38-year old is pretty impressive. The way he smashed Dominick Reyes in the title fight was superb. Just to remind, Reyes pushed Jon Jones to the brink and actually won that match per many experts and fans. Against Blachowicz, he was defeated in every possible way.
Previously, the Polish monster beat Jarred Cannonier, Luke Rockhold, Jacare Souza, Jimi Manuwa, Corey Anderson etc. He would start his adventure in the UFC pretty slow, but after a few losses, turn the page and become an unstoppable machine. The only defeat the experienced recently was against Thiago Santos, but he quickly bounced back, covering it with four straight triumphs.
Izzy On His Way to Glory
If he defeats Blachowicz, Adesanya will become one of the rare fighters in the UFC to hold two belts simultaneously. With 20 wins and zero failures, this guy has the potential of becoming the best ever. Adesanya’s attributes are freakish.
He has long arms and legs, yet incredibly quick, which allows him to react following the rival’s action, and hit back from some unusual angles and positions. But that is not all. With all the superb physical resources, his mindset is equally impressive as well.
There is no way of getting into his head, while on the other side, the Last Stylebender frequently defeats opponents because of mind games he pulls out before the match.
We won’t mention all of his victims, but just a few of them. Robert Whittaker, Yoel Romero, Marvin Vettori, Paulo Costa, Anderson Silva, etc.
Prediction and Pick
Adesanya is our favorite here, despite the size and power Blachowicz possesses. He is the unstoppable force that answers all of the obstacles in front of him. Jan is strong but way slower than Izzy, whose leg kicks will do all the work here, Expect to see Blachowicz’s lead leg chopped in the first few rounds, and after that, the Pole won’t have any chances of escaping a stoppage.
