There is never a quiet week when it comes to Real Madrid, but that has never been more true than the last seven days.

Los Blancos didn’t take well to their unbeaten sequence ending in a humbling defeat against Barcelona, as their toys were well and truly thrown out of the pram after being snubbed at the Ballon d’Or ceremony.

No Real player attended the awards event after Rodri was awarded the prize at the expense of Los Blancos trio Vinicius Jr, Jude Bellingham, and Dani Carvajal.

However, the attention quickly turns back to La Liga action on Saturday, as Real make the journey to Valencia.

Odds

Real will be heavily fancied to resume winning form this weekend, as they will be an odds-on chance on the moneyline. A victory for Valencia is priced up at +705.

Despite being massive outsiders, it isn’t hard to make a case for Valencia based on the historical records. Valencia have won five of the last ten meetings between the sides at the Mestalla, losing just twice since 2013.

However, Los Blancos have a dominant overall record against their Spanish rivals, winning six of the last nine. Valencia have kept just one clean sheet over that sequence.

Valencia vs. Real Madrid Prediction

This could be a very bad time to come up against Real Madrid, as Carlo Ancelotti’s side will be looking for blood this weekend. There is nothing more frightening than a Real side looking for revenge, and we could see them running out as big-scoring winners at Valencia on Saturday.
