Most of our Los Angeles FC vs. Vancouver Whitecaps predictions for the first game came true. LAFC won the game and the total number of goals was more than 2.5. A pick that failed was Olivier Giroud to score at least one goal.
What do we predict for the rematch? We’re not sure whether Giroud will score this time either. However, we’re pretty confident one of his colleagues will do it.

Both Teams Ready for Whitecaps vs. LAFC Pt. 2
The first Los Angeles FC vs. Vancouver Whitecaps game was played in California and the hosts won 2:1. It was a very close game, with each team making 15 goal attempts, four of which were directed toward the net.
That said, LAFC’s players can be content with the win, but they can’t be satisfied with their performance that evening. Their midfield needs to do better on Sunday when they play against the Whitecaps in Canada.
The hosts are bound to play more offensively this time around, so LAFC’s midfielders need to try and stop them from getting near the goal. If the Whitecaps score, things could get rough for Californians.
Luckily for them, they’ve got very good offense, so they can fight back. Denis Bouanga has been fantastic throughout the season. He’s one of the most lethal strikers in the MLS with 21 goals to his name.

They also have Olivier Giroud on the roster, but the legendary Frenchman is yet to score a single goal in the MLS.
Vancouver Whitecaps vs. Los Angeles FC Prediction
The Whitecaps have no other option but to try and score as many goals as they can in Sunday’s game. This tactic will leave room for LAFC’s counterattacks, so expect Bouanga to cause serious trouble for Vancouver’s defense.
