The rivalry between West Ham and Tottenham is massive. Both teams are from London; they are titans in English football, so it’s no wonder why each time they meet, things become tense and rough.

Before Betting on West Ham vs. Tottenham

The Hammers lost to Newcastle after a thrilling match in which they had a lead but allowed the Magpies to flip the result and post a 4-3 triumph. This was the fourth time in the past five events that West Ham failed to win, which is a reason for worry. The only triumph was in the Europa League, vs. Freiburg, 5-0.

They don’t lose so often at home, just once in the latest ten meetings, but they don’t win frequently either, having only four triumphs with five ties. The previous four games saw subsequent wins and draws. The victories were against Brentford, 4-2, and Freiburg, and the ties vs. Burnley, 2-2, and Aston Villa, 1-1.

Tottenham again played with the nerves of their fans, allowing Luton to draw the first blood at the Tottenham Stadium on Saturday. Ange Postecoglou’s guys have managed to flip the score and eventually triumph 2-1. If it weren’t for the unexpected loss to Fulham on the road, they would be placed fourth in the standings ahead of Aston Villa.

The Spurs have three points fewer than the Villains but a game in hand as well, and that’s why a win over West Ham is so important for them. In terms of efficiency, in eight of the past nine road games, Tottenham had ended with over 2.5 goals, and in four of the past five, with four or more hits.

The best thing here is to bet on high efficiency, which would be over 2.5 goals. West Ham is open to playing such events, and we don’t need to explain anything about Tottenham’s playstyle.
