Two excellent contenders for the women’s Wimbledon championship will meet in the quarterfinal stage on Centre Court on Wednesday. Elena Rybakina knows what it takes to win the Grand Slam title, and she will need all that experience to overcome Elina Svitolina.

Before Betting On Elena Rybakina vs Elina Svitolina

An excellent quarterfinal in prospect is set up for Wednesday at Wimbledon, with 2022 champion Elena Rybakina aiming to reach a second final at SW 19. The 25-year-old broke onto the scene at the highest level when winning the title two years ago, and her consistency in Grand Slams has been excellent since after reaching one final and two quarterfinals.

The former champion has looked excellent at the tournament this year, dropping just one set on her way to this stage. Rybakina was at her dominant best in the previous round, beating Anna Kalinskaya via walkover. She smashed down seven aces in that success, and her powerful serve is likely to be a key weapon in her arsenal once again on Wednesday.

Elina Svitolina is the more experienced of these two players, and has been a regular contender at this stage of Grand Slam events. She will be competing in her eleventh Grand Slam quarterfinal on Wednesday, but she has landed just three wins at this stage. But, two of those wins have been recorded at Wimbledon, including last year.

The player from Ukraine has been an outsider previously at the event this year, but she upset the odds to eliminate Ons Jabeur in the third round in straight sets. Svitolina encountered few issues in the previous round, winning 80% of the points on her first serve to defeat Wang Winyu in straight sets on Monday.
