Wolves are in perfect situation to pull two wins in a row, as they once again play at home. Their next rival is Nottingham Forest, who had a terrible experience at Craven Cottage this Wednesday night.

Before Betting on Wolves vs. Nottingham Forest

Wolves posted a minimal victory over Burnley on Tuesday, 1-0, but those three points were worth gold for the Lopetegui’s unit. They are still in the lower part of the standings, but the win over Burnley could be a swing for the latter challenges.

Wolverhampton is much better at home than on the road, and they didn’t lose in the latest five appearances at Molineux. Among others, they were better than Manchester City, and played without winners against Aston Villa and Newcastle before beating Tottenham and the Clarets.

Forest is in crisis. The former European champs lost the latest four meetings, allowing 12 goals throughout that span. The humiliation at Craven against Fulham, 5-0, is the last straw and an obvious sign that the team is in deep crisis.

Also, 180 minutes without a goal scored is another reason why Forest fans look very concerned. They are aware that the defense is very fragile, and that the only way for them to record positive results is through the offense. Nottingham is the second-worst team on the road in the Premiership, with one win, one tie and six defeats after eight road trips.

Wolverhampton has been practically invincible at Molineux in recent times, while on the other hand, Nottingham looks disastrous away from its City Ground. Their form is on the decline, opposite to Wolves, who seem more and more confident with time passing by. That’s why betting on the hosts is a smart move here. Wolves have everything going in their favor and simply need to use the current situation.
