For the Wolverines (6-9), their 79-73 defeat to Penn State marks a four game skid while the Terrapins (9-6) have now dropped their last two. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"before-betting-on-michigan-vs-maryland-ncaab\">Before Betting on Michigan vs Maryland NCAAB<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>While neither team comes into this matchup with a ton of momentum, you would have to give Maryland a lean considering they did just have a five game win streak and their loss on January 2nd was against then #1 Purdue. Prior to the loss to the Boilermakers the Terrapins <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/sports\/no-1-purdue-ends-marylands-19-game-home-win-streak-2024-01-03\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">had won 19 in a row at the Xfinity Center<\/a>, and they&#8217;re now 8-1 on their own court this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maryland will try to start a new streak on Thursday night after falling 65-62 at Minnesota after being up 11 in the first half. The Terrapins will turn to <strong>Jahmir Young<\/strong> to try and snap their two game losing streak as he&#8217;s 4th in the Big Ten in scoring at 19.9 ppg.
