This series features a matchup between the Minnesota Twins (24-19) and the Cleveland Guardians (27-17). The Guardians currently lead the AL Central division, but the Twins are just 2.5 games back. Minnesota has a chance to take over the division lead by sweeping this series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"before-betting-on-twins-vs-guardians\">Before Betting on Twins vs Guardians<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Minnesota tumbled into 3rd place in the NL Central after being swept by the Yankees this week. When facing the other 28 teams, the Twins have fared much better. They&#8217;ve been especially impressive on the road, where the hold a 13-8 record. That will be put to the test in this series on the road against the current division leader, the Guardians. After recently claiming outright 1st place in the division, Cleveland has established itself as a contender. The Guardians rank 3rd in the AL in record and 6th in all of Major League Baseball with a +48 run differential. Like the Twins, Cleveland has been very balanced this season, ranking 8th in runs scored and 9th in runs allowed.
