This game features a matchup between the playoff-bound Michigan Panthers (6-2) and the eliminated Houston Roughnecks (1-7). The Panthers are aiming to build some momentum with the postseason on the horizon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"before-betting-on-panthers-vs-roughnecks\">Before Betting on Panthers vs Roughnecks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Panthers clinched a playoff spot following their win over the Defenders in Week 8. Michigan is technically still alive for 1st place in the conference and home-field advantage in the playoffs. They&#8217;d need to win out and see the Stallions lose out for it to happen. Regardless of the likelihood of that occurring, the Panthers need to start by focusing on winning this game against the struggling Roughnecks. The defeat dropped them to 1-7 on the season, leaving much to be desired. That being said, the Roughnecks played a competitive game on Saturday, despite losing. They lost 35-28 on the road against the 8-0 Birmingham Stallions. The rushing game was especially effective, with three players combining for 134 yards and 3 touchdowns.
