The Royals have been one of the biggest surprises of the season so far, but are in the midst of a tough stretch of games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"before-betting-on-mariners-vs-royals\">Before Betting on Mariners vs Royals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mariners have emerged as the frontrunner to win the AL West division. Despite the past two MLB champions also being in the same division, Seattle has opened up a 5-game lead over the Rangers and sit 7.5 games ahead of the Astros. Winning 8 of their last 10 games certainly helped. During that span, Seattle allowed just 19 runs, less than 2 runs per game. With their schedule toughening, the Royals have since lost 7 of their last 10 games. Despite those defeats, Kansas City remains in solid positioning in the AL Wild Card race. In order to push the Guardians for the division lead, they&#8217;ll need to get back on track against the Mariners.
