After an off day Monday, the Orioles now set their sights on closing the 1.5 game on New York as they visit the Yankees in the Bronx for a three game set that begins on Tuesday night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"before-betting-on-june-18-orioles-vs-yankees\">Before Betting on June 18 Orioles vs Yankees<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Oddsmakers like the Yankees in the series opener even though they have lost three of their last four &#8211; including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=5J66hSSpSgc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">two of three to rival Boston at Fenway Park<\/a> over the weekend. Baltimore is one of the better road teams in baseball at 22-10, but that&#8217;s also the exact same record the Yankees have at home. <strong>Albert Suarez<\/strong> (3-0, 1.61 ERA) gets the ball in the opener facing the Yankees for the first time in his career. Suarez has been extending his work load pitching into the 5th in his last three starts, while only allowing 3ER over that span (15.1 IP). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nestor Cortes<\/strong> (3-5, 3.59 ERA) has had a few rough starts lately with a 4.86 ERA through three June outings, but he&#8217;s back at Yankee Stadium where he has a 1.77 ERA compared to 5.57 on the road. Cortes started in Baltimore on April 30th and it wasn&#8217;t pretty, allowing 4 ER over 6.0 IP in a 4-2 New York loss.
