The acquisition of Juan Soto has paid off nicely, especially in tandem with the re-siging of Aaron Judge, who leads the MLB in home runs and OPS. New York&#8217;s pitching rotation is their surprise standout this season, though they&#8217;ve had a bit more troubles lately. They hold an 8-2 record in that span, spurred on by the 7-game <em>Grimace<\/em> winning streak. New York now sits just one game out of a Wild Card spot in the NL, but has a lot of work to do to separate themselves from the competition.
