However, the Dutchman\u2019s advantage at the top of the Drivers\u2019 Championship remains extremely healthy with ten rounds remaining. Verstappen sits 78 points clear at the summit, with Lando Norris appearing to be his closest rivals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>McLaren\u2019s inability to prioritize Norris is a key factor behind the Brit being further back, as team orders saw him reverse positions with Oscar Piastri on the closing laps at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Norris and Piastri have both finished in the top five positions in each of the last three races, while Red Bull\u2019s fight is being hindered by the form of Sergio Perez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mexican was given assurances surrounding his future during the summer break, but there was slight surprise that the team weren\u2019t both ruthless.
