Houston had also dropped six of eight over the past couple weeks before stringing together a 10-0 win in Philadelphia on Wednesday to go along with Thursday&#8217;s victory over KC. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Royals had a chance in game one, going up 3-2 in the 7th off of a 3-run double off the bat of <strong>Kyle Isbel<\/strong> but Houston did not fret and tallied a <a href=\"https:\/\/cw39.com\/sports\/astros\/astros-take-advantage-of-two-errors-in-4-run-eighth-to-beat-royals\/\">4-run 8th inning<\/a> to take the lead for good. He&#8217;s got a top 10 ERA in the league overall, but has a 4ER, a 7ER, and a 5 ER allowed outing over his last four starts to give him a 5.76 ERA for the month. Lugo started against the Astros back on April 10, giving up 2 ER over 6.0 IP in an 11-2 KC win. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Houston counters with <strong>Framber Valdez<\/strong> (13-6, 3.27 ERA) who they&#8217;ve had success with lately. The Astros suffered a loss in a Valdez start for the first time since June 18 when they fell 3-2 at Baltimore on Saturday &#8211; a stretch of 10 straight wins.
